marigold, green

$160.00

You either love or hate marigolds, and I am firmly in the love camp. Their leaves smell so strongly that it repels pests, and the roots can even repel nematodes underground. Beyond their help in the garden, I love how they smell, how easily they grow and how full they become. And how they last practically until Thanksgiving, long after everything else has given up for the year.

This woodcut was printed with nontoxic vegetable oil-based inks from two blocks, each with a reduction technique. Printed on Fabriano Rosaspina paper. Block measures 12x18." Limited run of only 26 in this colorway.

Due to the nature of the block printing process, colors and printing will vary slightly in each print.

*If you choose framing, please allow an additional few weeks for order to be complete.
